Port Blair, July 24: During the last one week i.e from 15/07/2015 to 22/07/15, the teams of Special Branch (CID) & Central Crime Station (CID) conducted special drive in Port Blair Municipal Area against the bootlegging menace and arrested 22 bootleggers under Excise Regulation. From the arrested persons 157 bottles of 750 ml IMFL were recovered and seized by the Police.
The general public are requested to inform about any credible information pertaining to illegal sale or possession of liquor/drugs or any other illegal activity on the following telephones numbers - 232586, 233307, 242198, 9434289985 &100. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
