Neil, Feb 08: Police team of Neil Island’s Police Outpost has rescued three researchers of from sea, after they got drifted towards deep sea, while snorkeling for some research.

According to reports available here these three researchers Roshni, Yatiraj, Vardhan along with a French National Mr. Guillanme Demare had gone for snorkeling in coastal area of Neil Island at 11.00 AM. At around 2.30 PM Mr. Demare came out of waters and reported to the life guard Mr. Pankaj Podder that other three researchers, snorkeling with him, have gone too far and are not visible.

Following this the life guard reported this matter to Police Outpost and at 3.00 PM a police team consisting of ASI Mr. Jarumba, HC Mr. Ravindran Nagwan, PC Mr. Benedict Ekka, PC MR. Ravindran Bahadur Singh along with the life guard Mr. Pankaj Podder sailed out in a small boat to search for three researchers.

All three researchers were found floating at a distance. They told Police team that due to heavy current they got drifted towards deep waters and because of tiredness they were floating and were waiting for help. Soon all three people were taken to the Neil Hospital for medical checkup
