Port Blair, Oct. 27: As a part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week, Shri Rajesh Malik, IPS, the Director General of Police, A&N Islands administered the pledge to all the Police Officers and men at Police Headquarters, Port Blair at 11.00 am on 26th Oct. 2015. 
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP highlighted the need of prevention of corruption as a tool of Good Governance and asked the staff to work with utmost honesty, sincerity, dedication and to eradicate all corrupt practices in order to bring transparency and pride to the organisation. Similar pledges were administered in all the Units and Police Stations across the islands.
