Port Blair, Feb 05: On 01/02/2016 a missing of a 15 year old minor girl R/o Dilanipur was reported at PS Chatham by her guardian and upon which a case vide FIR No. 12/16 u/s 363 IPC was registered at the police station.
The girl had reportedly left from her residence without the knowledge of her guardian on 26.01.2016. The special police team of PS Chatham was pressed into the search who finally succeeded in tracing her out on 04/02/16 from Garacharama and she has been counselled by Child Help Line (PRAYAS).
Another minor girl about 17 year old R/o Manarghat was also reported missing on 31.012016 at PS Bambooflat upon which a case crime vide FIR No.13/15 u/s 363 IPC was registered. She was reportedly enticed by a person namely Anand Biswas R/o Shadipur and taken to Kolkata but by the sincere efforts of PS Bambooflat police, the missing girl alongwith the accused person were traced out on 03.02.16. The girl has also been counselled over by Child Help Line (PRAYAS). The accused person of this case has been arrested and released from the PS.
Parents and the guardian of the children are advised to take proper care of their minor children and inform the nearest police station or the police control room (100) at once in case of any missing of the child immediately. Further no heed should be paid to any rumours circulating on social media platforms.
